ive had this doll for awhile and never found any markings or anything on it. Curious as to who its made by and the value

      It's a composition foreign souvenir doll. Started making them in the 19th century called unbreakable dolls. Made of glue, wood/sawdust because of the problems with children breaking the fragile porcelain dolls. Celluloid plastics replaced the composition dolls. They were popular to pick up when visiting other countries, imported and made all over the world. Some marked, most not. This one is not as finely made as those by Storybook, Madame Alexander and other well know doll makers. I have one made to look like Spain which was most likely made in Mexico, you can sometimes figure out the country depicted by the costumes or materials used.
