Hello everyone! I'm a newbie to the site. My grandmother passed away in January and my grandfather just moved to assisted living. We've been tasked with selling the house and everything in it. I'd appreciate thoughts on the furniture. What I know is that they purchased it when they had their house built in the late 1950s. It has always been covered in plastic and nobody was ever allowed to sit on it. I literally sat on it for the first time in 38 years this past weekend (I couldn't resist, sorry mommom!). The couch and chairs are Thomasville, I haven't had a chance to check the manufacturer on the coffee table, end tables or lamps. I have researched for a week and cannot find anything similar. Any ideas on value? We're looking into having an appraiser come out but scheduling has been tough due to multiple jobs and shift work.
