The back of mourning brooch

The C clasp on the back has been replaced I did buy it like this its had masive damage to the glass on the back

      Judging by the clasp and supposing it isn't a replacement, which it could be, it's early 20th century. The two little stubs on the top and bottom of the back could be where a ribbon was secured to make it a bracelet. Ribbon bracelets were very popular in the 1870s through 1890s. It may have been remodeled from a bracelet into a brooch in the 1920s or 30s, which would explain the modern clasp.
