Hello, Guru. I can help you describe it accurately, then it's up to you to do some research to see what such things are currently selling for.

Is there any chance you could show me the marks? I would expect this to have the Egyptian mark for 12k stamped on every major component part and perhaps a set of 3, including fineness/assay office, national mark (an ibis) and a date letter in 1 place. Where & in what way is it marked for 14k?

The stones are lab grown color change sapphires, sometimes erroneously described as alexandrite. If you can still find an incandescent light anywhere (maybe your refrigerator?) you will see that in that environment they look hot pink. Daylight fluorescent will bring out the peacock blue, which seems virtually impossible to photograph for an amateur. Shining a UV light on them in a dark setting will amaze you.

E was the date letter for 1929 - 1930, but I have never seen these stones mounted in jewellery dated any earlier than 1940. Can you show me this E?

Don't think there's any more I can tell you without seeing all the marks.

      :) Bronwen
