      It is a bit strange for me to say this since I first said it was made 1720-1740.

      Now that I have seen all the photos it tells me this piece is what I would call a mish mash, Looks like someone has started with some old sections and completely reveneered all the front sections,the veneer on the backs of the doors is not right (new doors )It has no real value as an Antique. A decorative piece.

      Good to look at from a distance with the doors closed. I was worried when no old locks showed up ,and no grooves in sides for sliding drawers (as they would have in original linen presses )

      It did fool me in the first instance.

      It is always better when I have all the facts to go on.
