Antique scales?

Can anyone tell me what these are? The tops come off and I believe they are made of brass. There are no markings and it’s subject is bartering. Any help would be greatly appreciated. My email iscarmbad11@gmail.com. Thank you!

      They are African bronze works, maybe Benin or Dogon...
