Hey! What Happened To The Thread "Just sayin'..........."?

    I think it was Spot ON, Books...

    It is risky to speak one's mind, an' ain't that a damn shame? Yeah, blah blah rules about politics, religion an' sex rearing their ugly head are said to protect everyone...but I'm so not-convinced about that.
    Thanks for trying, though...I hadn't heard "Put A Woman In Charge"...an' promptly sent a link for it to the many women in my retinue, familial an' otherwise. If it generates even one more vote, I'll feel fulfilled.

    The Forum rules are there because these types of subject often create arguments. It happens more often than not. It is an Antique Forum. We have a General Discussion Forum which people can discuss topics off Antiques. People are free to use private discussion to talk about politics etc.

    So...it seems the original post was simply in the wrong forum? Had it been posted in General Discussion, would it have therefore been acceptable...or in violation also?

    It still would have been deleted, I'm just pointing out this is a pretty free place for discussion other than those mentioned in the rules.
