I have bought this mystery item made from ceramic. Would love to know from which country it is and howl old it is.

 

how tall..... does the top remove ?

 

it measures 29 cm high and 16 cm wide and 9 cm deep and weighs 2300 grams. it is a one piece object no removable parts.

together with the tile stove kachel i bought this tile for 10 euro. is it a real William de morgan tile.

Backstamp looks right. Beware……They are making copies now as they are desired objects.

 

oke is the stamp you posted a reproduction or real. And if my tile is real does it still have value? here some closeups love to hear your opinion.

 

on the one hand, too bad it got broken. On the other, without that you might not have found it at all.

 

That’s absolutely a William de Morgan and I am very very jealous. Even repaired it has value.

I remember those stoves in Bavaria.

 

while i was googling it is very hard to find a genuine tile of de morgan. thanks for the heads up.
