It's an "old world Santa". And thought the same, but quickly grows on you and sets it apart from the status quo.

You might check in with these folks. If they don't know it, it isn't woolworth knowing. https://goldenglow.org/

Figtree3 What would you do if you weren't afraid?

I believe that @Bev aka thelmasstuff has recommended a Facebook group with a similar name whose members are very knowledgeable on all sorts of Christmas-related items.

If a lot of you think it's newish (1970s or 80s maybe), I went looking for modern Santas. Design Toscano has a store on Amazon and they have a 50" resin Santa for $682.86. See it here: https://www.amazon.com/Christmas-De...gn+toscano+santa+claus&qid=1638210223&sr=8-42 (Last one, get it quick before it's gone.)

There are some similarities like his large clunky boots, his beard etc. Not saying they made it, but if this one is newer, that price could be close for full retail. Or maybe I'm letting the fact that I like it sway my opinions.

Wayne, the way that corner of the stairway is decorated is brilliant! Very festive. I can't see myself winding red ribbon on every spindle but I am willing to enjoy yours!

I have to admit a light bulb went off when I saw your banisters. Such a colorful, simple decorative device and so much easier than working with fir branches. An idea I'm going to steal this year.
