IMG_6421.jpeg IMG_6419.jpeg IMG_6420.jpeg IMG_6423.jpeg IMG_6422.jpeg Hi all,is this a little gravestone or marker? Or is it too small? Something else? Looks to be hand chiselled is that right? Its 17cm wide,3cm thick and stands 23cm tall. The centre raised area is 11cm wide,14cm long and also about 3cm thick. It weighs 4,5kg. Probably not the most interesting thing, but I was just wondering about it. Thanks for any comments and keep well.

With that smaller piece on it, it may be the top to some type of stone container?

Will triangle shape not be weird for it to be a top/lid? Or maybe it’s that shape for easier handeling and removal? (I don’t know, just wondering)

Looks like a 9th Century home plate! (American baseball reference - game not invented really until the 1830s if memory serves.)
