I’m on the hunt for an engagement ring that has an antique or vintage look and would love some recommendations for online stores. I came across DiamondNet, which has some beautiful options, but I’m also curious if anyone has other trusted sites they’ve used for similar styles. I’m looking for intricate designs with a classic feel. Any tips or experiences with buying antique-style rings online would be appreciated!

We have gone to Wilson's Estate Jewelry in PA and they have some amazing pieces.

The women here will love this: 3 yrs ago I surprised my wife, took her there and gave them a price range I had in mind. When we got there, they had a whole display set up solely for my wife. She about died. They treated her like Zsa Zsa.

And lucrative! If buying a ring I'd be looking in person, preferably in a jewelry store with an estate case and a good reputation. Why bother with "style" when you can have a legit antique?

In the U.K., antique pieces are much better value. No VAT and no massive margins.

Also no "blood diamond" issues. AND you might score a Golconda with the trader unaware of what it is. Some old diamonds were what's considered off-colored now, but those weren't.

Golconda diamonds have a wide range of colours, including very clear. Golconda has a very long history of diamond trading, and many diamonds in European Medieval jewellery were traded through Golconda.

The really big, really old stones might have a bad history, but most of them are now locked up in museum collections. No problem with those. Some modern ones react to blacklight, and oddly that makes them less desirable. (problems to have, eh?)
