Hi all, I'm hoping someone might know the maker of the this bracelet - I'm not even sure if the mark is letters or a symbol. May a Navajo bracelet? Would this be referred to as inlay stones?
    any information appreciated
    thanks for looking:)

Thought inlay was more of a Navajo specialty?

there's all kinds of cross pollination...

Navajo do it too...but I like to think of Navajo as big turquoise and silver work..

.when the Navajo inlay...u still tend to get the silver stamping as well...

while Zuni artists concentrate on the stones..
.like the petite point , and needle point...

    .and the crest images..

CX's bracelet is light tourist fare , and could be either or...
but I see Zuni from the classic stone selection.. and thicker black borders.

I truth , I'd be lying if I said I could tell these apart on a regular basis......

thanks komokwa - the mark just isn't very clear:) I'll look in the direction of possibly Zuni inlay

the only one I know or think I know is the opal
