    apparently that shaped it is referred to as a “lobed Meiping”

    The mark itself. It could very well be from the 40s, but Chinese marks are amongst the most confusing, so I was just wondering if that mark showed up in the 20thc marks on gotheborg.

    Not my bailiwick, but from my research it is a 4 character Qianlong mark which many potters used as a nod to the period (it’s popularity died out in the 40s)

    Well, that's the thing -- so many honorific marks that one can get led astray easily. I know I do, LOL.
