It has a blue-ish green tint but at a quick glance you'd say gray. I wouldn't consider it dark enough to call it peacock but I may be wrong.

Any educated guesses? And, yes, I did see the "tool" marks on the lower edges for the curved bars that hug the pearls. Unfortunate, but not visible without major magnification.

Thanks for your help! 14K_Gray_Pearl_Diamond_Band_ring_1.JPG 14K_Gray_Pearl_Diamond_Band_ring_9.JPG

Gorgeous ring with gorgeous pearl. And I agree, it looks like a Tahitian/South Sea pearl.

Thanks, all! I do have diffusers on the side lights but with a polished orb it's very hard not to have some hot spots.

The link from marikoplambeach didn't work and Holly's link was to many, many color charts. I'll have to plow thru those later once I decide if I should be looking at the Freshwater charts or Tahitian, or something else.

With 3 votes for Tahitian or South Sea I'll start with those terms. Merci!

Wonder why not. I just tested it and it was fine. I'm in the US; what continent are you on?

US. While doing a google image search I found a similar ring in that site so I got in that way!

Actually, my anti-virus program blocked me from entering that specific page. I typed it by hand and was still blocked. Dunno why, sometimes it's an out-of-date certificate.
