Featured Plastic amber-like beaded necklace

Not amber. Not bakelite. Some kind of plastic. Lucite? Found another on etsy that is nearly identical (link below). Do you think their description accurate? 1970s?

Picked up for $10.00 at thrift store. More than I usually pay for such things but I liked the look. Would guess an import. Any idea from where?

Yes, acrylate, aka lucite or perspex.

Not Faturan, simply fun beads.

 

Brad, I don't know jewelry but it seems that would sell now as many looks are going back to the 70's.

 

I'd say throw that in an antique booth for $20 and it'll go home with someone.

 

Thanks to everyone for their input. The one on Etsy sold for $35.00 and I found another that sold for $40.00 on Poshmark. I am not doing anything with it just yet. I think I will be consigning a batch of jewelry locally as we get closer to the holidays. Will probably price at $29.00 to leave room for a discount and consignment fees. My former shop gives me a 20% rate on consignments so reasonable enough to make something.
