The carnelian (?) is stunning. That first brooch is so unusual!

 

I'm very fond of carnelian. Yes, the heart shaped one is odd, isn't it. Modern looking but a Victorian back.

I've a thing for seventies stainless steel as you can see....

I've never seen one like that heart either, especially not that old. I'm less a 70s stainless than a 50s copper junkie - the weirder the better.

 

I think I like the stainless steel stuff because I bought it at the time, so it’s memories. Did you spot the Blue John?

I really can’t work the heart one out. The other one which looks good quality is that five point star pink and clear rhinestone job. The golden brown domed brooch is good, too. And I like the odd opal ring.

yessss…. @Bronwen ….. my precious….! I’d wanted a One Ring for a while, but blowed if I’ll pay retail.

The pearl earrings are signed Lanvin Germany and were one whole quid. Green beads are sixties plastic, which seems to be my current obsession.

 

Did did I see the Blue John? Yup - looks rather like a butterfly wing.

Could the small rhinestone in the heart pin be a replacement? It doesn't seem to sit correctly and the color is off.

I wondered the same thing about that rhinestone, I’d have thought a cab the same as the others would be better. It looks more modern, doesn’t it.

 

What a beautiful bunch! I especially like the blue (ring?) in the first group of pictures.
