    Ditto means “same”
    or in agreement with what was said.

    It also says 12 in Arabic, just like the other marks. Egyptians usually mark every component of a jewel.
    Above it is the name of the city in which it was assayed (for tax), but in all of the marks it is too blobby for me to see. Excellent photos, but the stamps themselves are not defined enough.

    Pri¢inGuru, are there any marks that look different? I am looking for a mark that looks like an ibis bird. It looks a bit like a stork.
    I am confident that it is indeed 12 carat gold, but the ibis mark is a general Egyptian mark for gold, and it is usually found somewhere on a gold item as well.

    That's another 12K mark, the only one shown almost right way up.

    Looks like it could say "Misr" above the gold mark, meaning Egypt. A little blurred at the end but taken altogether that's my impression.
