Looking for more information.

when moving into my house a few years ago an old what I believe to be army oven was left.

I was wondering if people could shed any light on this, I have found some small info on the creators Ed Deane & Beale.

Any info and valuation would be great.

Hi KoT,
I used to put my shoes on the oven door in the winter. With no heat shoes would freeze and be unable to put them on without heating them up. You people might not think of us old guys before modern heating. Remember every luxury soon becomes a necessity. Especially central heating.

I don't know where my post went, but as I said, Worthpoint has one listed, but I'm not a member anymore.....It's kinda cute!!! At one point I had 3 of the small Garrison III woodstoves.....we still have one that we use, but I love them!!!!!

Im not getting an army connection? It looks like a regular coal stove that would have been in a million homes?

There's clearly an issue over on the Overclockers forum. You can't even delete your own account. So I guess they're keen for new threads to look like a busy forum. Admin won't discuss admin issues unless you start a new thread about it - I guess so the admin can gang up on the confused person.

Finding out anything about Deane and Beal is proving quite hard. I found when Beal took it over, and became Ltd. But can't find any old catalogues, etc.
