Featured Large Chinese Ginger Jar

I know many of these are a penny a piece etc, so I don't expect much out of this. However I do think I over estimated age as it was with a few other older pieces, now I have it home it looks practically new What is good is its in perfect condition and with its lid! A quick search shows this listed for $495, but a better search shows anywhere from 60 to 200, with one even listed at $10!

Its got a really nice 'embossed' feel to it, with the framing of the 3 landscapes.

If there's anything interesting to decipher here, what would it be? What does the mark on the inside of the lid say and how old is it? If its something interesting, I'll hold on to it for an auction later on down the line, I don't relish the idea of trying to ship this.

It is a tea canister, missing its lid. Lids are usually the first to break.
Fairly recent imo, but I could be wrong.

 

Oops, I forgot the picture of the lid! The mark is on that instead of the base.
And yes as I feared. Hmmm

How is this older than the plate Brilliant help, thank you Carnivant! Love the condition even more considering its a good 50 years old.
