Any jewelry it’s not you it’s me, ha, no really. I’m a bit ADD and a little dyslexic and my typing ability can’t keep up with my thoughts, I’ve caught myself more than once thinking I wrote something and I’m reading it while I type but going back I’m often surprised at my omissions.

the other elephant in the room I’m relating some things I’m not personally very knowledgeable about amber, antique Tibetan objects I am clueless and beads in general are not my thing. I’d get my wife on here you two would have a lot in common and unlike myself my wife is very social to the extreme everyone she meets becomes lifelong friends or wants to, the party is in whatever room she’s in.
Unfortunately her English is her 5th language and that makes her uncomfortable posting here.

Shining a black light on things I doubt now there is any amber in either necklace compared to an insect ring included as a control, but the ring amber is so much more translucent maybe it was not a good choice but I see no blue green iridescent glow except the ring.

in that case the dark side of the larger bead occurring naturally is moot if the amber ain’t real and everything else with it it’s basically fake tourist tchotchke.

Well that makes two of us.:D I have ADD and brain damage, so I have trouble with long texts anyway.
I guess our two ADDs etc combined make for interesting misunderstandings.;)
Some of our Slavic members use google translate to post here. But as we all know, google can come up with some strange translations.
Different colours amber fluoresce differently, but I agree, those beads reflect rather than fluoresce. If those opaque beads were amber, they would fluoresce in an almost lemon yellow, and a very solid colour.

The thing is, Tibetans have been making faux amber for quite some time, just like they make faux coral and faux turquoise.
That is why I asked if you meant real material.

We're not picky here as long as we can understand it. They even let Americans post in here. :D:D:D

Those beads probably aren't amber. Usually at least some will react to a blacklight, although not all.
