Featured Small Chinese something, case?

    Hi all

    i’ve had this lying around for a while as i’ve failed to find the correct term to google it.
    Seems to be a small carry case that would maybe be attached to a belt or other item of clothing. Tin or lead interior with wicker exterior and painted on both sides. Attached with pink cord, with glass, coral and an amber bead.

    5.5cm case diameter

    Very cute, and I agree, Chinese.
    Is it possible to attach one end of the cord to the other metal loop on the box? Maybe the cords went through the loops on the lid so it could slide up but not be lost?
    This could have been made around the same time.

    What a cuteness:shame: I would add a chain, or cord to it and wear like a micro bag, or coin purse
