Featured The vintage Coke shade I "almost" bought today..

    '70s fiberglass shade.

    I was all set to buy it, and had a person put it behind the counter for "safe keeping". I go up to pay, stupid kid at register knocked it over and broke it. Didn't seem very troubled, either, very obnoxious. Wife put down her basket of other items and we walked out.

    Was the 'stupid kid' an owner ? If not-might have a word w/ the proprietor.

    I was livid. But of course nothing could be done because I hadn't technically bought it yet. Just disgusted by the lack of concern.

    On your way out, you should have accidentally knocked over a shelf of glass items :D. An eye for an eye...or 50 eyes for an eye...

    If it's any consolation Tique,I believe there were a few cracks in that old fiberglass.

    Yeah, I d seen at least 1 minor one, but it was game over after it got dropped.

    Ach! It's not the glass shelfs fault the kid is such a goof. Maybe he's the owners son? So there's the payback.
