I just wanted to share these new finds with all my peeps here on the forum.

We have just acquired three pots from my deceased Mother-in-law's estate.
She had a Native pottery collection, and these are some of her pieces.
I wasn't sure at first, but after some research online, I think this is a historic Zia dough bowl, circa 1880's. It is quite large at 14" in diameter.

And these two are from Acoma Pueblo, marked on the bottom. Both about 8" in diameter.
These are maybe from the 1970s.

Here is a similar dough bowl from a pottery website. The imagery is almost the same.

Thanks AJ! She was a classy lady, and she liked nice things. She had pottery in different rooms all over the house, so we didn't realize how much she actually had.

There is still more pottery that we need to retrieve from her house, including another similar dough bowl, but the decoration is mostly worn away.
There are also several pots from Picuris Pueblo and Taos Pueblo that are not painted, but are still really lovely.
When I get them I will post them here!:woot:
