Hand carved

Very dense heavy, Light coloured hardwood with some kind of dark finish

No marks or signatures

30cm Tall

 

An odd but interesting looking thing. Where did you find it? Country? My first thought was that it’s no very old. Maybe it was left unfinished? (I have no idea)

 

It looks kind of like an incomplete rendition of a WWI artillery shell.

 

Picked it up in England

 

It rings a bell, but can't remember who, what, where. New Guinea? @2manybooks , do you recognize it?

 

Kinda Easter Island-y.

I don't recognize it, and can't find a comparison. With the flat bottom and "cap" it does look like it is supposed to be a bottle of some sort, perhaps just a representation of one.
