Japanese Cast-Iron Coin-Trivet; What Does It Say?

    This is obviously a matter of little import...but the right an' bottom characters seem, to my admittedly unschooled eyes, to be more like Korean than Japanese. The thing is 6" diameter, ~3/16" thick, chrome (or more likely nickel) plated; weight is ~17 oz.
    I'll guess its age to be between 75 an' 100 years. Perhaps those 4 characters will offer some clue about that assumption. All comments an' other assistance will be most gratefully received...an applauded. Thanks for lookin'!
