    Bought this clip today.
    It's marked with
    Smaltotex
    N.A.
    Bronze

Any idea what that N.A. stands for?
And how old is this? 1970s?

It's a stationary clip with a Greek owl.
I have a similar one with Hercules on it..
I have no clue about age

    I'd think 1970s about right.

I have or had one that's very similar. It's 1970s tourist stuff.

It could be a message to the tourist buying it

"Na! You know what that means. It’s the word that supplements that hand gesture the Greeks use that says it all… your stupid, [...], or, you’re a (fill in the blank)." :D

The side with the owl has the Greek letters alpha, theta, epsilon, indicating the connection with Athena/Athens. There is also an olive branch. In the competition to see who would be the patron god of the city, Poseidon produced the horse; Athena, the olive. Athena won.

Not sure knowing what the NA stands for would contribute much to the understanding or the value.

Of course, the Smaltotex intepretation of the Greek brass cross candle holder, which no Dutch middle class household was without in the 1970s.:hilarious:

I'm sure I can get a crateload from 'Marktplaats' or any flea market.;) They were roughly cast bronze, btw, not enameled.
