    I don't have a question, but I wanted to share this.
    I found this bowl in the thrift shop today, $10.00.
    I didn't know what the mark was until I got home and researched it. I just felt that it was something good, so I grabbed it.
    8.5" (21cm) diameter. Some chips on the base, but I don't care.
    The mark is obscured by glaze, but I could still make it out. Marblehead lotus bowl!
    I'm thrilled!

    I'd say that was worth the $10!

    @Debora the Egyptian lotus shape really made me look closer at this one.

    @Bakersgma yes,the color is really dreamy!

    @mmarco102 I did see that. That one looks purple in color? Mine has stilt divots and two small chips. I'm sure that affects value.

    @johnnycb09 I'm jazzed about it!

    @evelyb30 it was marked $20.00 but on sale for 10.00, so a real bargain!

    @wlwhittier we went to vote in the primaries today. You know, doing our civic duty. And then we popped into this thrift shop next door. The Pottery Gods were kind today!

    @lvetterli thanks! I'm very excited about it!

    That’s very nice and beautiful colour. Great buy/find (all in agreement :)) Also the contras against the wood really makes it standout)

    I had to show it to you all!
    I thought it was so nicely made with an Arts and Crafts vibe, so I figured it had to be of the period.

    @Boland thanks! That's my old Chinese chair.

    It has a bat and a praying mantis!
    No one is allowed to sit on it. I've had it for 30 years, and I never once sat on it.
