These are as-found; I'll polish them before listing 'em on eBay.
On the left wing of the pin is an enameled white star in a blue circle; on both wings of the earrings are enameled red stars in blue circles...each circle is about 0.070" (not quite 2mm) in diameter. The earrings are marked sterling on the underside of the elevator; the pin is not marked, but I suspect sterling there as well.

A squadron of P-38 aircraft was stationed here* in 1942, which goes a long way toward explaining why these were in a box of costume an' misc. jewelry at a sale, where I found them in about 1995...for a buck apiece. Snatched 'em right up, I did!
I'll post pics after polishing, backsides included. Thanks for lookin'!

I'd leave them as found. Then again, I'd be too busy wearing them to sell them!

Nice group! Wishing you well with the sales.

Well, I cleaned 'em up...an' now I'm not so sure I wanna sell!
The enamel stars really 'pop' on the wings, an' I note the different colors almost certainly mean the earrings an' the pin weren't a 'set' originally, but purchased or acquired separately.
I am conflicted; no one I know would dream of wearing 'em ('sept for you, evely), so what good are they?

If I do list them on eBay I'll want a stout if not eye-watering amount for the trio. Maybe that's the answer?

Screwbacks don't hurt unless you do it wrong. That said, if you're lucky someone will be willing to pay the eye-popping money to get hold of them if grandpa flew p-38s.

I'm reminded that I promised pics of them after polishing. Tomorrow, for sure!

Here ya go, Fig...I think they're gold-washed, as they have, even on the hoops an' screws, a yellow cast that can't be anything else.
Note that the earrings are marked on the thumb-wheels, as well as the elevator, as sterling...while the pin isn't marked at all, as far as I can see.
