Who doesn't need one of these ? Found this gaggle cheap-it's
    bronze,8" long by 7" tall,weight's 5.7 pounds.
Cant find a sig or chop anywhere on it.
    Could be Meiji,Taisho,Chinese,maybe a Remington-style knock-off ?
The only clue I've got is it's got the same base construction as my Meiji/Taisho bronze cat (sealed w/ a bronze soldered plate)-see 4th pic down.
    That's all I got-any guesses ?

I know this doesn’t help you at all. But that cat is way cool!

Thanks Boland- We like the little guy a lot (plus it's great to have period pieces around for hands on reference).

That's the theme song from a 1980's BBC comedy series,'The Blackadder'. Concept ?-think Mel Brooks 'Men In Tights' or Monty Pythons 'Holy Grail' or 'Life of Brian'.
The music reminds me of the 1950's TV show 'The Adventures of Robin Hood' starring Richard Greene.
.......that should just about catch you up my friend.

-now,if I could just get a smidge of insight into my bronze rooster,my day would be a triumph !.....ah well:(,life goes on.

Tracking a piece of art can be an exercise in patience and determination.Google Lens has an average IQ of 9 with lots of artsy stuff.
    * Having a bit of living under yr belt, one of your watchwords is 'patience' my friend-good to remember.

    To everything turn, turn, turn
There is a season turn, turn, turn
And a time to every purpose under Heaven.
