Sacred Religious Artefact (Holly Grail)

Knights Templars found cup of Christ crusading around the 1300s hear it is! Or its a prop from Indiana Jones? Not sure? Maybe there is some budding archaeologists in this forum who can help me out ? With these hall marks View attachment 484243

I 'think' it's a Greek Orthodox communion chalice. It sure has taken a beating but it's nowhere near 2000 years old. Someone should be able to decipher the mark.

 

The mark appears to be Russian. The 84 for zlotnicki and the image next to it the city mark. The maker's mark to the far right may be stamped upside down, but I'm not good at cyrillic letters.

 

Russian Orthodox, then.

 

Russian marks....I concur......and what looks like Russian writing around the rim..

19th century from the marks, just don't as me to read them, but DANG someone didn't treat it kindly.

 

Looks like it was used to beat something to death.

 

or robbed from a grave....

 

Or more likely buried to keep it away from the Nazis.
