    I 'think' it's a Greek Orthodox communion chalice. It sure has taken a beating but it's nowhere near 2000 years old. Someone should be able to decipher the mark.

    The mark appears to be Russian. The 84 for zlotnicki and the image next to it the city mark. The maker's mark to the far right may be stamped upside down, but I'm not good at cyrillic letters.

    19th century from the marks, just don't as me to read them, but DANG someone didn't treat it kindly.
