    it measures 21x5 cm
I bought this, thinking it was St. Peter, but then realising that St. Peter wouldn't be wearing a crown ...
But now I found this similar figure, with the information that it is St. Peter:

I also found this one Ebay

but no further info regarding the king/origin.

Is this indeed St. Peter? And any idea when & where mine was made?
    French like this one?

As this last one has pliers and mine has a key, could these be patron saints Eligius & Baldomerus?

Well, Peter is often shown with a key as he has the "key to the kingdom." Pliers? I dunno!

Most of these are Spanish souvenirs, from the 1960s onward. Yours is indeed St Peter.

We're had a number of similars on here. As above. They're little decorative items meant to invoke Medieval carvings and marketed as souvenirs in the 1960s-1970s.

As Debora said, we've had a few on the forum. If I remember correctly they were posted as 'primitive' or 'Medieval', maybe you'l find them that way.

:bag: only saw her reply after I posted my previous reply. Didn't notice it came in while I was typing.
I tried to find those older posts, but no luck so far. But that doesn't matter. The mystery is solved :)
