I looked all over this desk and can't find the manufacturer or date. I'm trying to find out it's worth.

but, we're not a site for getting values......although some folks may offer up thoughts pertaining to their own markets...

    Where are you....
are you looking to sell or need insurance ?

Aquitaine Is What It IS! But NEVER BORED!

I'm looking mostly at the lower section (couldn't see the feet on yours) which does have an Empire style look to it, but couldn't find a specific image......roughly 1803-1815.....I think!!

More correctly, pillar and scroll, or late classical. Circa 1850. Often gets lumped in with Empire in common usage here in the US. Don't see too many secretary desks in this style but not unheard of.

Nice condition and over 150 years old. You’d think it should be worth a substantial sum, which seems fair.

Sadly, due to the propensity of younger folk for experiences over objects, which contributes heavily to the ongoing brown furniture depression, this is not the case.

I’m thinking $200+- in my part of the Midwest US. There is just virtually no demand for desks, even those as beautiful as this one, because they don’t easily accommodate computer screens.

Nice piece. If you can find some way to keep it, then do so. You may never see another one.
