Very smart. My older son put one of the brown with the gold trim ones in the microwave once…he screamed I screamed my husband laughed! Yes, it was fine. The microwave had a mark, permanently. But the bowl survived!

I don't have the baking bowls but I have grandmother's pyrex red party set.... Hopefully no chance of it being spicy like fiesta. :playful:

There are people who scream about lead in the paint on Corelle. Never heard a peep about Pyrex.

Have not been able to keep up with photographing and posting. These are all finds from earlier in the month.

Was able to pick up this Royal Typewriter (Circa 1913) for $30.00. A bit rough with some gunk inside on the keys but I am hoping it will clean up.
    royal.jpg

This Kralik ball vase was $2.00. There is a rim chip but I could not pass it by for that money.
    thriftglass58.jpg

Chrome and glass dish by Farber Bros. / Krome-Kraft. Some are calling this an ashtray but I have my doubts. Any idea what the thingy at the back is for? Bought for $2.00.
    thriftglass57.jpg

This Silex carafe was $3.00. Missing its top but the price was right.
    thriftglass59.jpg

This heavy ink bottle has an indent bottom inside and a ground bottom ring. I have found a few similar but there seems to be no consensus on age. Any idea? Bought for $2.00.
    thriftglass60.jpg

This small, roughly triangular shaped, Steinbock enamel bowl was $2.00.
    thriftglass61.jpg

This black depression glass glass caddy is similar to others I have found but this has the square indents. Can not find what is supposed to fit them. Could not pass this up for $2.00.
    thriftglass62.jpg

This set of Starbucks Demitasse cups was a conference attendees gift. Each cup has a different motivational inside. Found that there are saucers that are supposed to go with but still not a bad deal for $3.00.

This small Japanese raku vase was $2.00. Will post on pgp to see if we can identify the potter.
    thriftpot28.jpg

This Brush McCoy blue onyx vase was $2.00. Was filthy but cleaned up beautifully.
    thriftpot29.jpg

This 32oz. Kodak beaker was a good buy at $3.00. Marked on the bottom and read from looking down the inside.
    thriftglass63.jpg thriftglass63a.jpg

I never would have thought this large-ish centerpiece bowl was Frankoma from the glaze. I guess it is not all that uncommon. Bought for $4.00.
    thriftpot30.jpg

Have never seen one of these Boopie glass trays before so had to buy it for $2.00. About 12" long. Guess they are also not all that uncommon.
    thriftglass64.jpg

These little bowls are, left to right, McCoy and Bauer Ringware. $2.00 each. Looks like the Bauer is particularly desirable.
    thriftpot31.jpg

Lastly, this was not a thrift store find. The place where I used to have my former shop space was having a clearance sale. Picked up these Roycroft beauties for $95.00.

Another sleeper, found, but not won. Two others found it too. They fought it out after I folded. A 1904 Curtis image, 21"x16". Once again, no appropriate key words alerting its importance. Needs some conservation and still is a cheap win for the buyer.

Wow, you had a ton of amazing and beautiful finds!! I'm jealous of your picks and also all the space you must have for them!

The ashtray "thingy"...looks like for a matchbox in the middle and matchbooks in the curves?? Really nice design.

I agree. Matchbook holders. I'd put a cruet set on the black glass; that's what it was made to hold anyway.

    As for Roycroft metalware... :jawdrop::jawdrop::jawdrop::jawdrop:

Bought these for 50 pence each, never bought any Joan Rivers jewellery before, brooch and bracelet seems to be well made. The other sparkly bracelet is by Butler and Wilson, the butterfly is silver and I think not glass, maybe citrine but looks a bit too dense.

I'd be inclined to put some dried eucalyptus in that and hang it across from the couch. Ab Fab!!!

I haven't been out much, hubby and I were away for three days, he at a pool tournament in King of Prussia, me at a sorority convention up north in Somerset (Delta Kappa Gamma.) Just some little things I am excited about. I have been looking high and low for a wooden recipe box, thrift find $1.99.

I have been going nuts looking for new couch pillows, I found these beautiful down-filled ones at a more expensive thrift for $12 each, got two- I love magnolias.

Then at a sweet little thrift that is catching on and raising prices, these were $1.50 each, got two.

Just one piece of jewelry post-worthy. Found in an antique mall for $6. Brass findings, faux turquoise, triple strand of graduated branch coral. Circa 1920, my guess.

You HAVE been to my mother's house in the 90's! :hilarious:

She even had a large eucalyptus bush in the yard she got it from.
