Every squirrel finds a nut sometimes lol

Besides for having a few pencil marks it is a beauty.

Does anyone know how to get the pencil marks off? Called pencil marks but not actually pencil.

    Guess what I paid?

Wouldn't have a clue what that goes for but congrats! I would suggest soap and water for marks but nothing more.

If this was a "no one had a clue" deal, I'd say $3. Tops. (woot!)

    A factory second?
It is a great design, but there seem to be a few issues. I'm sure it was still a bargain though.

Great find! Some soft-scrub type cleanser should also work on the penciling.

The only pencil marks I see are on the bottom, I don't think it would be an issue. Plus it would remove color from glaze on ceramics? I wouldn't use it on a painted surface but I've never had that happen to me on ceramics with fired on glaze.

I've never had that happen and I've used it on all sorts of painted and/or glazed surfaces for years.
Perhaps you can be more specific with your warning?

I haven't used it on ceramics, but it definitely takes color off of other items. If the vase has a value if $700, I would never use a magic eraser on it. But hey, it's not mine!

What sort of items have you had it take color off of? A more specific warning could be useful to us. :)

Penciling occurs when a glazed piece of pottery rubs up against another piece.... another piece of pottery or metal. The abrasive nature of the glaze takes on a bit of the thing it has rubbed against. I don't see how a magic eraser could harm this.
