yeah better than i expected. its the female portrait sides that i prefer, so will probably just frame them that way

 

Went to a charity thrift today. Everything in the store was 75% off except the jewelry. Found a little perfume bottle in the back with an orange bottle, black stopper, and only a piece of a lable. $2.50 after discount. The stopper is stuck, but I'm not messing with it. The orange is inside the bottle and it's just paint. Turns out it's French - Brise de Monte Carlo, made in 1927. Remy Marquis.

Now what the HECK I want with it I have no clue.

 

Thrift store had a collection of old Connecticut made clocks in glass surrounds. Half run. Minimal chips. I'll try them as auction soon. No idea what the market is these days.

I think Art Deco is the keyword

 

I love the one in the back with the twisted glass rods. FYI I had a couple of vanity trays with the same type of twisted rods around the edges. There may have been a whole vanity set of these pieces.

PS - We can tell you are feeling better today - out selling gold & hitting the thrift shops - life is good!!!

Probably not gonna feel good on an intruder's face, although I would just gift the gal some proper pepper spray.

It's legal in many places here. I wouldn't try shipping any though, just in case.

 

Thanks! Pepper spray is legal here. I walk my dogs with a friend who always carries one in case we meet coyotes.
