Just picked up a batch of neat and deadly looking Spears! Any clues on where and when they came form??

 

Liking the wrappings on #'s 1 & 3 2nd pic .I like them & they feel correct,but my Tribal weaponry knowledge is zilch !
PS-You bought all these in one place,any provenance at all ?

Thanks for the info!! I grabbed the whole lot of them at an auction for $200.

 

I'm not up on the pricing of these items, but to me the blades don't look like the older ones so I'm thinking that the 4 on the left are tourist items , with the two on the right being of at least of a ceremonial quality.......

 

The few times I’ve seen lots of spears cross the block they bring very little relative to how cool they are imo. The first time I saw them I bought them. I’ve got a few. Other times I was extremely tempted. Problem is I’d likely just keep them. The other problem is that they are so long they are a pain to ship. If one had a local place to sell them it might be a better idea.
