Hi, I found these insulators in a bag at a thrift being sold as candle holders. I thought the outline of the state of Illinois was interesting and a little research showed they are electrical insulators and made by the Illinois Electric Porcelain Company in Macomb Illinois. I find conflicting evidence of what era they may have been made in and what the exact type of insulators they are. Each is around 4 3/8" tall. The lingo can be confusing. I would really be grateful for any help and ideas on these.

I can see them as candleholders. Are they an appropriate size?

I just had the thought that maybe they were promotional candle holders, but I did find a few unbranded/unmarked insulators that were very similar. I have zilch for knowledge about these things, glass or pottery.

I did find slightly similar searching "wet process" but the amount of types of insulators and similar porcelain items for all kinds of electrical uses is mind boggling. I had no idea.
