Featured Cassina Leather Chairs

I picked up 2 of these leather chairs earlier same place as i got the cacoon lamp last week.

Doing a google search I think they are Cassina Cab chairs designed by Mario Bellini.They look very similar and the measurments match up aswell.Says online they were designed in the 70s but is there a way to tell when mine were actualy made i wonder.

Nice find that is still in production. Expensive new or used. I don't think yours show enough wear to be from the 70s. Any idea what the X-7 designation means? Might be the key to pinning down a date of production.

 

Thanks verybrad.Was thinking the X-7 designation might help pinn down a date of production too.Am wondering might it be the colour or type of leather used ?as there seems to be a selection of different shades for these chairs.but i dont know.maybe someone else might have some knowledge of this

Have you tried asking the manufacturer for assistance? They can often be helpful.
