Art Print Help

I have this print and have tried to find more information about it to help me determine a value estimate. I'm not sure that it has any value, but I am interested in finding out. Here's what I think my nephew has found so far:

The piece is called "Study of a Nude for the Battle of Cascina".
It may be from the Gionna Battista era.
It is a wooden frame with a nick on each side where it was in a larger frame.
What appears to be the original stickers are still intact.

 

Yours appears to be a modern Made in Italy reproduction print imported and sold by Exposures, an American catalog company which began in 1990. The value would be decorative. The original of your work is in the Casa Buonarroti, Florence.

Thank you so much for that information! I originally bought the painting at an antique store for the outer frame which I am using, but didn't want to discard something that may have some value. I appreciate you taking the time to respond!

 

Florence is known for those dainty gilded picture frames. If you want to find similar in the future, search eBay (or other online sites) with the key words "vintage Florentine gilt wood frame."

Old Master sketches are always a decent decor piece in my opinion.

Also butts. Very popular.

So not worth much but I'm sure someone will be interested, even if you put it back in the thrift ecosystem.
