    It looks a little art nouveau to me, thats an interesting hinge! Lovely piece overall.

    Late nineteenth into early twentieth. I’d think glass, might be silver. Pretty thing.

    Early 20th imo, from what I can see of the hinge.
    It could be a European ethnic or ethnic-inspired piece. Ethnic inspired jewellery was popular ca 1895-1914.

    It looks to have been gilded originally. It has lost most of its gilding, but looks pretty anyway because of the nice design and decorations.
    The stone is probably glass, but you can have it tested anyway to be sure.

    pretty sure I see a little bubble in the glass. Definitely lost most of its gilding but for some reason on this particular piece I think the gold remnants give it a nice affect. Thanks!

    The color didn’t strike me as uranium glass but I’ll give it a uv blast to be sure!
