I looked it up, not a popular spelling probably because in Latin Tristam means ‘full of sorrows’.
The prices for his paintings are confusing too as some pretty high and some quite low.

I can't tell. I suppose it might be possible, but it's not focused well enough to say with any certainty.

May be the Lismore pattern which is quite poular. I am sure someone out there has damaged one of theirs & would love to replace it with a good one. The siggie at the bottom is probably one of the cutters or designers & signed it on QVC or another "signing event" which were quite popular during the 1990's.

    Thank you, @bercrystal
I was just considering making a thread on it, since I’m having trouble finding it. Now I don’t have to.
    Will search Lismore.

The question is whether yours has the high straight cuts above the diamond at the bottom. I can't see any in your pictures.

I may go back tomorrow and see if I find the base. I got it from Savers, so it’s possible. Or might see if I find on EBay. :)

And if you are ever in South Jersey during late summer, I will take you to my flea markets and thrifts and Cape May! In late summer, our white Silver Queen corn comes in. We boil a huge pot of water, pick and husk the corn, and boil. Butter and salt to taste. Fresh-picked and immediately cooked keeps the corn super sweet before the sugars turn to starches. I have never had roasted corn, that would be a great treat!

Meet Jungle Pete! Got this at an estate auction over the weekend. He didn't come cheap but I really liked him.

I remember silver queen; they used to grow it in Connecticut too. My dad used to talk about Country Gentleman corn; it was a butter and sugar variety. I haven't seen silver queen in yoinks. My mom said her mother said the best way to cook corn was to set a pot of water boiling at the bottom of a hill. Pick the corn running down the hill and shuck on the way. Plop in the water when you get to the bottom.
