Oriental Silk Fabric

    I have a length of this silk fabric; it's a pale cream colour with woven cherubs.
    Also a pair of pyjamas which have washed/faded to white, I think the fabric was bought to make them and the length I have is left over.

    It came from a lady who lived her early married life in Singapore society in the 1920s, the fabric was purchased then.
    There's a maker's stamp at one end; I wonder if anyone recognises it?
    I can see "IMPERIAL" top left...

    Hi,
    Thanks for the memory. In the 1950s I bought a set of "antique" PJs of Japanese silk with a Jade green jacket and black pants, they had dragon flies all over the jacket.

    I've no clue if it has any great monetary value so>>>
    I suppose that depends on how big it is but how about a nice pillow cover?
    Maybe something for a baby in your life as a keepsake from you?
    I'd find a use for every piece of it for it is too sweet to not use it all. :)
