I found a bunch of interesting posters that were donated to a local thrift store yesterday - it looks like someone gave up their collection or maybe an ex wife tried to hurt her husband in a unique way?

The first is a Neil Waldman Poster that was selected by UN Secretary-General Javier Perez de Cuellar as the official United Nations International Year of Peace poster in a 1986 competition.

But there is almost nothing about it online - an image search turned up nothing; including any images of things that might be close? The only thing I found was a UN photo & summary about it when I googled Neil Waldman UN international year of peace poster - United Nations Photo - 8ac.jpg

Wouldn't they have made some for different buildings, embassies, etc?
Mine is signed by Neil Waldman (who also designed stamps as well as regular art) - does this have any value/is it collectible besides the artist's signature, or was it just a political promo piece that no one even kept??

The 2nd one I found is a 1984 Olympics poster from when they were held in Sarajevo - collectible because it was the first eastern bloc country to host the Olympics & it was also the most successful winter Olympics up till then! (8 years later the Bosnian war for independence literally destroyed the city)

The 3rd one I'm not sure is a poster, but it came in the same donation group so I wanted to check to be sure what this is.
I googled Mexico Olmec & found it was the earliest known Mesoamerican civilizations.
I thought it might be a educational poster because of the group it came with, but a google image search of it just turned up images of Joan Miro pieces!
It is on what almost looks like tissue paper? and is signed Davis in lower left corner.
Is this hand drawn? Is this art - or a fantasy piece?

Any thoughts on these would be appreciated!

Your Olmec piece may be Paul Richard Davis. These two have signatures to compare:

It could be a print or hand done. Usually the way to tell is to see if there are any areas in the lines where the ink has pooled from a brush or pen stroke. Given there's not much feathering on a thin paper, and there are horizontal lines through areas, I'm going to guess it's a print. It has shrunk and wrinkled so it would really need some delicate heat press treating I would guess.

Artists do have multiple signatures over time. And of course, multiple styles. Can't speak definitively for him, but the handwriting is very close.

It is great if it is his (and he does Mexican art)!
    Thanks
