Once again I am astonished at people who seem to think theres no such thing as an electronic trail ! Even young people seem to think that. I guarantee they tracked them all down that way. Just like those idiots who still think they are talking to an underage person when its always the cops !

 

Guys, and it's always guys, who fall for that make me wonder if they can be allowed to cross the street by themselves. The birdbrains who harassed the Steiners, thus turning an industry-specific website into a globally read website, fall into the same category.

 

This of course is horrific, but I have to giggle at the spiders and cockroaches. What a dramatic way to send a threat, it sounds like its more out of a victorian novel then out of a bbc article.

 

I don't believe for a moment that the higher ups did not know this was going on.
I hope the Steiner's feel better now and try to put this in the back mirror.

 

The one that made me laugh was the funeral wreath. Cockroaches are disgusting, but I'd have hung the wreath! And taken pictures. And published them. What did these idiots do, take their ideas from Godfather II????

I hope the Steiners laugh all the way to the bank.

 

The wreath is such a specific thing to send! Crazy people but I respect the theater behind it haha

So they know where I am. If they're cowardly enough to just send disgusting "presents" instead of showing up themselves... put a photo up on the website!

 

They also followed them and tried to be a gps on their car so they knew where they were. That is scary.

 

Now that's scary. That goes way over the line from disgusting to spending a few days in the slammer while awaiting araignment and bail. If you get bail. Stalkers shouldn't.

 

This was not the result of the Steiner's civil suit against eBay. I believe the state of Massachusetts brought this suit & eBay agreed to the $3million to make it go away. They definitely did not want to go before a jury with the evidence that was in hand.

IMHO I think the Steiners amount is going to be much more than the fine payment & I sincerely hope I am right because this was wrong on every level imaginable.

I also agree with @pearlsnblume. There is no doubt in my mind that the little weasel instigated it & I hope with every fiber of my being that he chokes on the "golden parachute" he got on his way out the door.

I heard this on NPR. I hope the a$$wipe lost his golden parachute. Many companies write a contract clause for things like illegal/immoral behavior negating the parachute payment.

 

Just checked internet sources and the creepy CEO got a $57M package.
