Featured Help with age and maker on this 800 Silver and wood photo frame

Hi all.
I picked this up at G/W with a price tag of $2.99 USD.
Frame size is 9" x 11 1/2"
I could see the marks barely because I had forgot my loupe, but for that price I couldn't go wrong. I hope.

I would love to help, Mikey, but I cannot make heads or tails out of the mark next to the 800. Can you get a better picture of that?

If I had to guess, I'd think that was post-World War II. 1950ish. Based on the wood color/construction and the bright blue liner.

I don’t see the toucan but an Austrian 800 hallmark was the first thing that came to mind when I saw your mark.

Great find! I always think frames would be the most likely place go find silver at thrift stores but I’ve yet to uncover any.

I'm afraid that mark is so poorly struck I may not be able to get a better pic, but I'm gonna try
I did find this one. Smaller, but same design with different wood.

Italian - the mark too obscured for maker, can't tell if there's a fasces or not, so somewhere between 1934 and '68...

The eBay example, with the salmon-colored moire liner is going to be a bit earlier. 1940ish, I'd think.

If going by the link that @DragonflyWink posted, it looks more like the 1934-1944 marks?

Does look like there is a fasces, and FI for Florence...
