Little female figurine- Stone?

Hi all,your thoughts on this little figurine please. Is it marble? Was it stained? Age? Reminds me of the way Ethiopian women traditionally carry water. It stands 14cm tall and is 250grams. Thank you for any comments and keep well.

Yes, it has a very ethnic look. That would make the origin easier to find.

But definitely antique right? Doesn’t look like artificial age,right?

 

I'm no expert but I have seen documentary shows that show how Greek marble statues were painted to look lifelike. I'm not saying it's Greek but to me it looks like evidence of being painted. I believe it to be antique.
