Featured Help With Signature

This acrylic painting is for sale locally. I feel that is good enough to be by a known artist but I’ve been unable to read the signature. I’ve tried many variations starting with J but no success so far. Any thoughts?

Think your painting might be by Mexican artist Martine Janser .

 

i think this is probably your artist john, thought it might have been from a fashion designer, but that led me to this 20th century french artist

Certainly some similarities with the four costume works but I'm unconvinced those examples are by the same hand. Besides the medium being different, the sensibility is much different. I'd think the work of a clever art student and rather grotesque to my eye.

colour wise i think they are close as well.
wont let me see the bottom 4 costume examples, but in the second one of the bottom thumbnails the signature looks pretty close as well

 

Could be theatrical costume designs.
