I seem to be finding some beautiful Southwestern pieces lately. But of course, I can never figure out the marks on my own. I look at the reference sites, but no. Maybe these are not Native American and that's why I can't find it. So, what I see under the Sterling is either "AIS" or "RIS." There also seems to be something underneath that but the other earring has nothing, so those are probably scratches.

The inlaid design is the same as several artists, but each has its individual differences. These are the closest:

They are over an inch in size. Please help me, if you can.

Love it. You are the best! That's why I couldn't find it in the Native American references. Thank you.

I checked out @i need help's link........in enlarging YOURS, @KikoBlueEyes, I'm wondering if one MARK (and I don't know WHICH one!) is supposed to be a copy of the other!!!???? Kiki's looks more simplified and @i need help's is definitely more 'complex' or defined?? Which may just leave you with more questions..........

Hmmm. That's interesting. I started looking at the AIS Mexico stuff, and I don't see inlaid material yet, just beautiful stones. I haven't looked very long. Let me look at other examples. Thanks for your fantastic enlargements - they are such a help.

The inlays were done in a factory and sold as finished pieces. I've seen them before.

There is a difference between the two kinds of inlaid materials. If you look closely the stones of my earrings are separated by silver. The factory ones are not. I learned this in buying a pendant that I thought may be Native American and was disabused from this notion here. I always look now for those silver separations.
