Thoughts on 2 paintings?

I found these Fri at a local thrift but have been too busy getting some things together for a auction house that came & picked up everything today.

The large one is signed Masterson, but looking that name up showed a lot of Masterson artists (I thought I recognized the name when I first saw the painting but now I think I was thinking of the old Bat Masterson from a western tv show as a kid!)
Does anyone know which Masterson this is?
Thoughts on the painting? (it is mounted/glued to a older(?) board)

The 2nd one is signed on the back Wendy White & from what I found is looks nothing like her work (Wendy White - Artists - Gaa Gallery (gaa-gallery.com), but I love this one - is this impressionist? It's got a palette style with the thick paint?
Is this the Wendy White above?
Thoughts on this painting?

It is only Impressionist if it is of the period, this one is much later.

Masterson signed in all caps - not finding any artist information. Probably a studio artist. Wendy White is a living artist and works in mixed media. This could be a very early work but definitely not her 'style'. I would reach out to her - you can probably find her contact on facebook or the gallery.

You could say "Impressionist Style" or "in the style of..." To be labeled as an Impressionist you have to be of the Art Movement, when it happened. Art Movements derive their importance not just from the look of the piece, but the history, cultural, political, overall design movement etc of the exact moment of their making.
