Introducing myself

Hello! Thank you are for allowing me to be here. My grandparents and father passed back in 2009 and my father received quite the collection. He too passed on my birthday four years ago. Sorry to get all dark on yah lol. Needless to say I have too much stuff. From antiques to vintage and in between and would like some help not only identifying, but what I should do with these items and their possible worth (if at all) selling. Thanks again! Hope I make some friends on here.

Welcome Kira. I sell online ebay and Etsy. When I look for prices I go to ebay with my search and click on sold items since that tells you that the items sells for not just the asking price. I have to consider weight of the item. Most of the online selling sites collect a % of the shipping fee as well as the selling price. I have been very successful lately selling at my garage sales things that are heavy or glass. It also takes a great deal of time taking pics and posting. So i better make a good profit. Often I opt for my garage sale and take a little less. I have built up a clientele of sellers with booths as long as I price it so they can make money. I can message them all or call them before I have my sale.

pick the right Forums for each item , take clear pics under 1mb file size, and tell us what you know about each item...... we'll fill in the blanks !

Value ..is indeterminate ...
depends on the current market....brown furniture is way down , MCM , is up.
depends on where u are
how you sell... ect

remember...u got the stuff for free , and while no one wants to give away gold at silver prices..... do not expect full retail on anything you have.
